Nylon Plastisol Ink – 16 Colors – Bleed Resistant, For Nylon & Polyester

Nylon Plastisol Ink is a bleed-resistant plastisol built to bond to slick synthetics for nylon & polyester. Its bleed-resistant chemistry holds bright, opaque prints on hard-to-adhere fabrics without dye migration bleeding through. Available in 16 colors. CPSIA-compliant and phthalate-free, made in Hackensack, New Jersey.

Always run a test print first. Before any production run, print and fully cure a test on your exact garment and check opacity, hand and wash-fastness. It's the best habit in the shop — if you're not sure on settings, call us at 201-487-9600 before you run the job.

What it prints on

• Nylon — jackets, bags, umbrellas and activewear
• Polyester and poly-based synthetics
• Best on hard-to-adhere synthetics where standard plastisol won't grip

Printing & curing

• Mesh: 110–355 — coarser 110–160 for high-opacity coverage, finer 200–355 for detail and halftones
• Squeegee: 65, 75 or 80 durometer — or a 70/90/70 triple durometer for sharp edges with easy fill
• Flash: 240–260°F between colors
• Cure: bring the full ink film to 310°F — always confirm with a temp gun or donut probe, not dryer air temp

• Nylon Bond 289 — catalyst/adhesion additive; add for nylon and hard-to-adhere synthetics.
• Quick Flash Reducer — thins the ink for easier printing and finer detail without killing opacity.
• Soft Hand Base — add for a softer, lighter hand feel on the garment.
• Badass Puff Additive — mix in for a raised, high-rise puff effect.
• UMX® Pantone® Mixing Colors (or the UMX® Mixing Kit) — match any Pantone® color in-house.

Safety, PPE & storage

• Wear nitrile gloves and safety glasses; avoid prolonged skin contact with uncured ink.
• Print with adequate ventilation; curing releases vapors — vent your dryer.
• Always stir the ink before use — standard practice to re-blend any settling.
• Storage & shelf life: keep sealed and out of direct sunlight. Shelf life is 1–2 years for standard inks; low-cure and all-polyester inks must be stored at 60–80°F. In high heat expect some expansion in the container — open carefully. Do not freeze.
• Uncured ink is not hazardous waste but should be handled and disposed of per local regulations.
• Refer to the Safety Data Sheet before use.

CPSIA compliant — meets 16 CFR Part 1303 (<90 ppm lead in surface coatings) and CPSIA §101 (<100 ppm total lead); safe for use on children's apparel. Phthalate-free formulation.
