Description
Siser® Metal is a polyurethane heat transfer vinyl with a genuine brushed metal appearance and a smooth, flat surface — not a glitter, not a foil. It reads like machined metal on the garment, which is why it turns up on athletic wear, band merch, and anything that needs a hard, premium edge.
At 63 microns (2.8 mils) it is one of the thinner specialty films Siser makes, so it stays soft on the shirt and weeds cleanly on fine detail. It ships on a pressure-sensitive carrier that holds small pieces in place while you position the design.
Features

Cutter Settings
- Blade: 45° or 60°
- Force: 5–10
- Offset: .250
- Speed: 10
Always cut mirrored and test cut before running production.
Application Instructions
- Mirror, cut, and weed the design.
- Preheat the garment for 2–3 seconds.
- Press at 305°F / 150°C for 10–15 seconds using medium pressure.
- Peel the carrier cold.
- Add roughly 30°F if you are using an EasyPress rather than a heat press.
Test press on your specific garment first — platen temperature often differs from the display reading.
Care Instructions
- Wait 24 hours before the first wash.
- Machine wash cold, inside out, with a mild detergent.
- Tumble dry low.
- Do not bleach and do not dry clean.
- Do not iron directly on the design.
