UMX® Mixing White – Pantone® Mixing Base

UMX® Mixing White (Pantone® Mixing Base) is the mixing base of our UMX (Ultimate Mixing System) — combine it with the 18 UMX mixing colors to hit lighter tints and complete every Pantone® (PMS) recipe by weight. Pantone®-certified, it cures at 320–350°F. CPSIA-compliant and phthalate-free, made in Hackensack, New Jersey.

Always run a test print first. Before any production run, print and fully cure a test on your exact garment and check opacity, hand and wash-fastness. It's the best habit in the shop — if you're not sure on settings, call us at 201-487-9600 before you run the job.

How the system works

• Pull your Pantone® (PMS) recipe from the free UMX software.
• Weigh the mixing white with the 18 UMX mixing colors per the recipe.
• Print, cure, and get a verified, repeatable spot color.

Printing & curing

• Mesh: 110–305 depending on the print
• Squeegee: 65, 75 or 80 durometer — or a 70/90/70 triple durometer
• Flash: 240–260°F between colors
• Cure: curing is a time-and-temperature process — bring the full ink film to 320–350°F (160–177°C); confirm with a temp gun or donut probe, not dryer air temp

Safety, PPE & storage

• Wear nitrile gloves and safety glasses; avoid prolonged skin contact with uncured ink.
• Print with adequate ventilation; vent your dryer.
• Always stir before use.
• Storage & shelf life: keep sealed, out of sun. Shelf life 1–2 years. In high heat expect container expansion — open carefully. Do not freeze.
• Refer to the Safety Data Sheet before use.

Compliance

CPSIA compliant (16 CFR 1303 <90 ppm; CPSIA §101 <100 ppm total lead) — safe for children's apparel. Phthalate-free.
