Description
Description
30000 Series Industrial Maintenance Topcoat is a solvent-based, fast-dry enamel screen ink built for durable industrial identification and coating — equipment panels, control faces, metal parts and industrial products that have to survive handling, chemicals and time. It dries to a hard, abrasion- and chemical-resistant film and can be air-dried or baked.
⚠ Industrial use only. This is an industrial solvent enamel for equipment and industrial products. It is not a textile or garment ink and is not intended for printing on apparel or for skin contact.
Fast-dry enamel. Air dry or bake. Quart, gallon and 5 gallon. Made in Hackensack, New Jersey.
Substrates & end uses — what the 30000 Series is for
A fast-air-drying enamel with baking properties, formulated for durable marking and topcoating across a wide range of industrial substrates:
- Cardboard, fiberboard & hardboard
- Paper & wood products
- Glass
- Metal & coated metal
- Treated polyethylene (HDPE / LDPE)
Excellent hardness and mar resistance make it a strong choice as an industrial maintenance topcoat and for durable point-of-purchase and industrial marking.
Recommended companion products
Match your 30000 Series ink with the correct reducer, retarder and cleaner. Add modifiers by weight and always test on your exact substrate first.
- OPTI 910 Slow Thinner — the reducer for this series. Reduce 5–10% by weight for smooth flow and controlled drying.
- OPTI 974 Retarder — add 2–3% to prevent drying in the screen in hot, humid conditions.
- OPTI 900 Fast Thinner / Wash-Up — speeds drying and doubles as a wash-up.
- OPTI 902 Lacquer Wash-Up or OPTI 925 Mild Lacquer Wash-Up — clean screens, squeegees and tools after printing.
