WFX Color Match Plastisol Ink – 5 Gallon – For Cotton, Polyester & Blends

WFX Color Match Plastisol Ink is a custom, Pantone-matched plastisol ink for cotton, polyester and blends, in the production-size 5-gallon pail. Send us a Pantone number or a sample and we match it in-house so your brand color prints the same every run. CPSIA-compliant and phthalate-free, made in Hackensack, New Jersey.

Always run a test print first. Before any production run, print and fully cure a test on your exact garment and check opacity, hand and wash-fastness. It's the best habit in the shop — if you're not sure on settings, call us at 201-487-9600 before you run the job.

What it prints on

• 100% cotton
• Cotton/poly blends
• Tri-blends
• 100% polyester (use a white base for best results on dark fabrics)

Printing & curing

• Mesh: 110–355 — coarser 110–160 for high-opacity coverage, finer 200–355 for detail and halftones
• Squeegee: 65, 75 or 80 durometer — or a 70/90/70 triple durometer for sharp edges with easy fill
• Flash: 240–260°F between colors
• Cure: bring the full ink film to ~320–330°F (cures like a standard plastisol) — always confirm with a temp gun or donut probe, not dryer air temp

We are a Pantone® certified company. Match any Pantone® color with our UMX (Ultimate Mixing System) — verified under D50 lighting, standard turnaround 48–72 hours. Free software at umxsystem.com.

Safety, PPE & storage

• Wear nitrile gloves and safety glasses; avoid prolonged skin contact with uncured ink.
• Print with adequate ventilation; curing releases vapors — vent your dryer.
• Always stir the ink before use — standard practice to re-blend any settling.
• Storage & shelf life: keep sealed and out of direct sunlight. Shelf life is 1–2 years for standard inks; low-cure and all-polyester inks must be stored at 60–80°F. In high heat expect some expansion in the container — open carefully. Do not freeze.
• Uncured ink is not hazardous waste but should be handled and disposed of per local regulations.
• Refer to the Safety Data Sheet before use.

Compliance

CPSIA compliant — meets 16 CFR Part 1303 (<90 ppm lead in surface coatings) and CPSIA §101 (<100 ppm total lead); safe for use on children's apparel. Phthalate-free formulation.
