Description

Replacement cutting blades for Roland cutters, sold in 5-packs. Third-party blades built to the same tolerances as OEM at a fraction of the cost — and since blades are a consumable you replace constantly, that difference adds up fast.

Which angle do I need?

Angle Use it for
30° Thin materials — standard vinyl, HTV, and fine detail work. The shallowest angle gives the cleanest cut on thin stock and the longest blade life.
45° The general-purpose blade. If you only stock one angle, stock this. Handles most vinyl, HTV, and cardstock.
60° Thick materials — heavy vinyl, sandblast mask, thick cardstock, and reflective. The steep angle cuts deeper but dulls faster on thin stock.

Using too steep a blade on thin material is a common mistake — it cuts through the liner, causes the material to lift, and wears the blade out early. Match the angle to the stock.

Getting the best life from a blade

Set blade depth so the knife cuts the material but only scores the liner — if you're cutting through the backing, the blade is too deep and you're destroying the tip. Handle blades by the holder, never the cutting edge, and keep the blade holder clean; adhesive residue on the shaft stops the blade swivelling freely, which shows up as rounded corners.
