Description
Haze remover clears the ghost image — the faint stain left in the mesh after emulsion and ink have been removed. Left untreated, haze builds up, blocks open mesh, and eventually ruins the screen. Franmar's removers are soy-based and biodegradable, so you get the performance without the caustic fumes.
Which formula?

Liquid or gel is about how you work, not how strong it is. If your screens sit vertically in a washout booth, the gel stays where you put it and does more work per application.
How to use
- Reclaim the screen first. Haze remover is the last step — remove all ink and emulsion before you start, or you're just wasting product.
- Apply to both sides of a wet screen and scrub with a soft brush.
- Let it dwell — don't let it dry on the mesh.
- Pressure wash thoroughly from both sides.
- Repeat on heavy staining rather than extending dwell time.
Don't leave haze remover to dry in the mesh. That's how screens get damaged. Keep it wet, and rinse completely.
Safety & handling
- Wear nitrile gloves and eye protection. This is a chemical process even though the base is soy.
- Use in a well-ventilated washout booth.
- Avoid prolonged skin contact; wash exposed skin with soap and water.
- Store sealed, cool, out of direct sunlight, and away from ignition sources.
- Keep out of reach of children.
