OPTI 934B Retarder – 40000 / 43000 Vinyl

OPTI 934B Retarder (formula T-934B) is the slow-drying additive for the 40000 Gloss and 43000 Matte vinyl inks. Added in small amounts, it keeps vinyl ink open in the mesh and improves flow in hot, humid conditions.

⚠ Industrial use only. An industrial solvent ink additive — keep away from apparel and skin contact.

Add 3–5% by weight. Quart, gallon and 5 gallon. Made in Hackensack, New Jersey.

What it does

• Slows drying so vinyl ink won't set up in the screen on long runs or in hot shops.
• Improves flow and detail on pressure-sensitive vinyl, rigid PVC and Mylar.
• For extra bite/adhesion instead, use OPTI 922 Biting Solvent & Retarder.

Safety, PPE & OSHA compliance

Flammable solvent-based product — handle per the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200); a GHS Safety Data Sheet ships with every order and must be kept accessible to employees.

• Gloves — chemical-resistant nitrile (not latex).
• Safety glasses — to protect against splashes.
• Mask — a solvent/organic-vapor respirator mask when ventilation can't keep vapors down (not a dust mask).
• Storage — keep sealed and upright in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place away from heat, sparks, flame and sun; ground containers when transferring.
