Choosing a durometer

• 60 (soft): maximum ink deposit for thick inks, glitter, metallics, puff, and rough or absorbent fabrics.
• 70 (medium-soft): a versatile all-rounder balancing ink laydown and sharpness.
• 80 (medium-hard): crisper detail and better edge definition on standard substrates.
• 90 (hard): fine detail, halftones, and high mesh counts where a controlled, thin deposit matters.
• Triple 70/90/70: a triple-ply blade — soft outer plies with a firm 90 core — for sharp prints without sacrificing ink flow.
