Franmar® 605PRO Multipurpose Coatings Remover with Safenol

BLUE BEAR® 605PRO With Safenol™ Multipurpose Coatings Remover is a professional-grade stripper that removes multiple layers of paint, lead-based paint*, varnish, enamel, urethane and other simple coatings in one application — without harsh chemicals. The non-caustic, low-odor gel is easy to work with and suitable for use indoors or outdoors.

Why shops use it

• No methylene chloride, acetone, mineral spirits or other hazardous chemicals

*Lead becomes encapsulated in the gel, preventing airborne particles and allowing for safe removal. Dispose of in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.

Directions

• Test in a small, inconspicuous area before beginning the project.
• Apply a thick layer with a brush, squeegee or industrial airless sprayer. Applying too thin will cause the product to dry out before removal is complete.
• When the coating begins to buckle, check with a scraper to see whether it has softened down to the surface. If not, wait longer and recheck.
• Once the coating is completely softened, remove it with a scraper.
• Follow up with BLUE BEAR® Emerge™ 700DG Degreaser for easy clean-up of any remaining residue.
