Nylon Bond 289 Additive for Plastisol Inks

Nylon Bond 289 Additive — a catalyst and adhesion promoter added to plastisol so it grips nylon and other hard-to-adhere synthetics, for use with Total Ink Solutions plastisol inks.

What it does

• Promotes adhesion on nylon, nylon blends and slick synthetics that standard plastisol won't hold.
• Acts as a catalyst — added in small amounts to the ink.
• Improves wash durability on hard-to-bond items like jackets, bags and umbrellas.

How to use

• Add a small amount to plastisol ink and stir thoroughly. Once catalyzed the mixed ink has a limited pot life, so mix only what you will use — start with a small batch and always test first.

Safety & storage

• Wear nitrile gloves and safety glasses; work with ventilation.
• Stir before use. Store sealed, out of direct sunlight; do not freeze; expect container expansion in high heat.
