Choosing a system

Printheads matter
The i1600 is a reliable workhorse suited to moderate volume. The i3200 is faster and built for sustained production — four of them on the 36" Plus is a genuinely industrial configuration. More heads means more throughput, but also more maintenance discipline: heads must stay wet and circulating.
What you'll also need
- DTF ink — CMYK plus white. White gets consumed fastest since it carries the underbase.
- Transfer film — sized to your printer width.
- Adhesive powder
- A heat press for applying finished transfers.
Before you buy
- Confirm electrical and space requirements — these are production machines with real footprint and power needs.
- Ventilation is required for the curing stage.
- Plan for daily maintenance. DTF white ink settles, and a system left idle without circulation will clog. This is the single biggest cause of downtime on any DTF line.
