Franmar® 620LQ Soy Gel Liquid Coatings Remover

BLUE BEAR® Soy Gel™ Liquid 620LQ Coatings Remover delivers the effectiveness of Soy Gel in a formula made for dipping. It is designed for immersing metal, glass and other non-plastic, non-wood parts. Made with American-grown soybeans, it is low-odor and non-caustic with a low evaporation rate — well suited to a dip tank that stays in service.

Why shops use it

• Removes multiple layers of paint, lead-based paint*, varnish, enamel, urethane and other simple coatings in one application
• No methylene chloride
• Low evaporation rate

*Lead becomes encapsulated, preventing airborne particles and allowing for safe removal. Dispose of in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.

Directions

• Dip the material into the Soy Gel Liquid.
• Check progress with a scraper to see whether the coating has softened down to the surface. If not, wait longer and recheck.
• Once softened, remove the coating with a scraper or other stripping tool.
• Do not use on wood or plastic.
• Follow up with BLUE BEAR® Emerge™ 700DG Degreaser for easy clean-up of any remaining residue.

• Use in a well-ventilated area.
• Wear chemical-resistant gloves and eye protection.
• Always test on a small, inconspicuous area before treating a full part or surface.
• Keep containers and dip tanks sealed when not in use, and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
