Franmar® 610SP Soy Gel Sprayable Coatings Remover

BLUE BEAR® Soy Gel™ Spray 610SP Sprayable Coatings Remover is built for projects with a lot of square footage. It combines the performance of Soy Gel with a formula designed to run through HVLP or industrial airless sprayers. Made with American-grown soybeans, it is low-odor, easy to use and delivers the same stripping power as the standard gel.

Why shops use it

• Removes multiple layers of paint, lead-based paint*, varnish, enamel, urethane and other simple coatings in one application
• Works on wood, metal, concrete and masonry
• No methylene chloride
• Average coverage of 125 sq ft per gallon

*Lead becomes encapsulated, preventing airborne particles and allowing for safe removal. Dispose of in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.

Directions

• Test in a small, inconspicuous area before beginning the project.
• Apply thickly with a 3- or 4-stage HVLP sprayer using a 2.5 mm tip/needle, or an industrial airless sprayer with a 519 (.019 in) or larger tip at 3,000 PSI or higher.
• Applying too thinly will cause the product to dry out before removal is complete.
• When the coating begins to buckle, check with a scraper to see whether it has softened down to the surface. If not, wait longer and recheck.
• Once the coating is completely softened, remove it with a scraper.
• Follow up with BLUE BEAR® Emerge™ 700DG Degreaser for easy clean-up of any remaining residue.
