Sport White Plastisol Ink – Cotton / 50/50 / 100% Polyester

Sport White Plastisol Ink is the white to match our premium Sport line — a high-opacity white for 100% polyester and spandex that prints direct or as a bleed-resistant underbase, formulated for a rich, full-bodied hand and a bright, dense lay-down. Its dye-blocking chemistry and low cure stop polyester dyes from ghosting through, and the super-stretch film flexes with performance fabric without cracking. CPSIA-compliant and phthalate-free, made in Hackensack, New Jersey.

Always run a test print first. Before any production run, print and fully cure a test on your exact garment and check opacity, hand, dye migration and wash-fastness. It's the best habit in the shop — if you're not sure on settings, call us at 201-487-9600 before you run the job.

What it prints on

• 100% polyester — jerseys, performance tees, athletic wear
• Spandex & performance blends — the super-stretch film moves with the fabric
• Poly blends & sublimated garments prone to dye migration — runs as a bleed-blocking white underbase

Printing & curing

• Mesh: 110–160 for maximum opacity and a fuller deposit; up to 200+ for a lighter deposit
• Squeegee: 65, 75 or 80 durometer — or a 70/90/70 triple durometer
• Flash: 240–260°F; keep flash low and brief to avoid triggering dye migration
• Cure: curing is a time-and-temperature process — bring the full ink film to 290–310°F (143–154°C); the low cure is what keeps polyester dyes from bleeding; confirm with a temp gun or donut probe, not dryer air temp

Recommended companion products

• Nylon Bond 289 Additive — mix into this ink to bond prints to nylon and other slick synthetics (catalyst; stir in a small amount, limited pot life, always test first).
• Quick Flash Reducer — thins for easier printing.
• Soft Hand Base — softer hand feel.
• Pantone® Custom Color Match — send us your target Pantone® and we custom-mix the color for you (plastisol, solvent, UV & water-base).

Safety, PPE & storage

• Wear nitrile gloves and safety glasses; avoid prolonged skin contact with uncured ink.
• Print with adequate ventilation; vent your dryer.
• Always stir before use.
• Storage & shelf life: keep sealed, out of sun. Shelf life 1–2 years. As an all-polyester low-cure ink, store at 60–80°F. In high heat expect container expansion — open carefully. Do not freeze.
• Refer to the Safety Data Sheet before use.

Compliance

CPSIA compliant (16 CFR 1303 <90 ppm; CPSIA §101 <100 ppm total lead) — safe for children's apparel. Phthalate-free.
