Description
Description
Nylon White Plastisol Ink is our most versatile bleed-resistant white — a high-opacity white that prints on nylon, polyester, 100% cotton and blends, direct or as an underbase, blocking dye migration so it stays clean and bright. On nylon it bonds with the required catalyst. Cures at 290–300°F. CPSIA-compliant and phthalate-free, made in Hackensack, New Jersey.
Pint through 5 gallon. Heat cure. Made in the USA.
⚠ Printing on nylon? Add the catalyst. For nylon, mix in Nylon Bond 289 Additive so the ink bonds to the fabric. On cotton, polyester and blends, no catalyst is needed.
Also available in larger quantities — 30-gallon and 55-gallon drums; call 201-487-9600 for volume and discount pricing.
Features & benefits
- Prints nylon, polyester, cotton & blends — one bleed-resistant white for nearly any garment
- Bonds to nylon — with Nylon Bond 289 catalyst, adheres to slick nylon
- Bleed-resistant — blocks dye migration so the white stays bright
- High opacity — bright, dense coverage; direct print or underbase
- Creamy & print-ready — smooth lay-down on manual or automatic presses
- Pint to 5 gallon (plus 30 & 55 gallon drums)
- CPSIA-compliant & phthalate-free — made in the USA
Always run a test print first. Before any production run, print and fully cure a test on your exact garment — for nylon use catalyzed ink and check adhesion with a stretch and wash test, plus opacity and dye migration. It's the best habit in the shop — if you're not sure on settings, call us at 201-487-9600 before you run the job.
What it prints on
- Nylon — jackets, bags, activewear; mix in Nylon Bond 289 for adhesion
- Polyester — bleed-resistant; holds back dye migration (no catalyst)
- 100% cotton & blends — bright white, direct print or underbase (no catalyst)
Printing & curing
- Catalyst: for nylon, add Nylon Bond 289 per its mix ratio; use catalyzed ink within its pot life
- Mesh: 110–160 for maximum opacity; up to 200+ for a lighter deposit
- Squeegee: 65, 75 or 80 durometer — or a 70/90/70 triple durometer
- Flash: 240–260°F when used as an underbase; keep flash low and brief on synthetics
- Cure: curing is a time-and-temperature process — bring the full ink film to 290–300°F (143–149°C); confirm with a temp gun or donut probe, not dryer air temp
