Bleed Resistant 5-Star Bright White CQ Plastisol Ink – For Cotton & 50/50 Blends

Bleed Resistant 5-Star Bright White CQ is our best-selling white — a super-bright, high-opacity white for 100% cotton and 50/50 cotton-poly blends with a remarkably soft hand and built-in bleed resistance that holds back polyester dye migration on blends. Print it direct or as a bright underbase; it's low-bleed with great stretch and cures at 320–350°F. CPSIA-compliant and phthalate-free, made in Hackensack, New Jersey.

Always run a test print first. Before any production run, print and fully cure a test on your exact garment and check opacity, hand, dye migration and wash-fastness. It's the best habit in the shop — if you're not sure on settings, call us at 201-487-9600 before you run the job.

What it prints on

• 100% cotton — full opacity, super-bright soft white
• 50/50 cotton/poly blends — bleed-resistant chemistry holds back dye migration from the polyester
• Runs as a bright flash underbase under colors on darks
• For dark or high-bleed 100% polyester, use our Athletic or Sport poly white

Printing & curing

• Mesh: 110–160 for maximum opacity; up to 200+ for a lighter deposit
• Squeegee: 65, 75 or 80 durometer — or a 70/90/70 triple durometer
• Flash: 240–260°F when used as an underbase; keep flash brief on blends to avoid triggering dye migration
• Cure: curing is a time-and-temperature process — bring the full ink film to 320–350°F (160–177°C); confirm with a temp gun or donut probe, not dryer air temp

Recommended companion products

• Nylon Bond 289 Additive — mix into this ink to bond prints to nylon and other slick synthetics (catalyst; stir in a small amount, limited pot life, always test first).
• Quick Flash Reducer — thins for easier printing.
• Soft Hand Base — soften the hand even further.
• Pantone® Custom Color Match — send us your target Pantone® and we custom-mix the color for you (plastisol, solvent, UV & water-base).
• Cleanup: OPTI Wash 125 and OPTI Spot 303.

Safety, PPE & storage

• Wear nitrile gloves and safety glasses; avoid prolonged skin contact with uncured ink.
• Print with adequate ventilation; vent your dryer.
• Always stir before use.
• Storage & shelf life: keep sealed, out of sun. Shelf life 1–2 years. In high heat expect container expansion — open carefully. Do not freeze.
• Refer to the Safety Data Sheet before use.

Compliance

CPSIA compliant (16 CFR 1303 <90 ppm; CPSIA §101 <100 ppm total lead) — safe for children's apparel. Phthalate-free.
