All Purpose Plastisol Ink – 62 Colors – For Cotton, Polyester & Blends

All Purpose Plastisol Ink is our do-it-all plastisol that performs across all three fabric types — 100% cotton, 50/50 blends, and light-color polyester. It's a low-bleed, stretchable formula that holds back bleeding on light poly, cures at 300–310°F, and prints creamy and high-opacity in 62 colors. CPSIA-compliant and phthalate-free, made in Hackensack, New Jersey.

Always run a test print first. Before any production run, print and fully cure a test on your exact garment and check opacity, hand and wash-fastness. It's the best habit in the shop — if you're not sure on settings, call us at 201-487-9600 before you run the job.

What it prints on

• 100% cotton — full opacity and bright color
• 50/50 cotton/poly blends
• Polyester — test for dye migration; for high-bleed poly use a grey blocker underbase or a low-cure poly ink

Printing & curing

• Mesh: 110–355 depending on the job — coarser (110–160) for high-opacity whites, underbase and specialty; finer (200–355) for detail and halftones
• Squeegee: 65, 75 or 80 durometer — or a 70/90/70 triple durometer for sharp edges with easy fill
• Flash: 240–260°F between colors
• Cure: curing is a time-and-temperature process — bring the full ink film to 300–310°F (150–154°C); confirm with a temp gun or donut probe, not dryer air temp
• Runs smooth and consistent on manual or automatic presses, with strong flash and build for multi-color jobs

Recommended companion products

• Nylon Bond 289 Additive — mix into this ink to bond prints to nylon and other slick synthetics (catalyst; stir in a small amount, limited pot life, always test first).
• Quick Flash Reducer — thins the ink for easier printing and finer detail without killing opacity.
• Soft Hand Base — add for a softer, lighter hand feel on the garment.
• Badass Puff Additive — mix in for a raised, high-rise puff effect.
• Pantone® Custom Color Match — send us your target Pantone® and we custom-mix the color for you (plastisol, solvent, UV & water-base).

Safety, PPE & storage

• Wear nitrile gloves and safety glasses; avoid prolonged skin contact with uncured ink.
• Print with adequate ventilation; curing releases vapors — vent your dryer.
• Always stir the ink before use — standard practice to re-blend any settling.
• Storage & shelf life: keep sealed and out of direct sunlight. Shelf life is 1–2 years for standard inks; low-cure and all-polyester inks must be stored at 60–80°F. In high heat expect some expansion in the container — open carefully. Do not freeze.
• Uncured ink is not hazardous waste but should be handled and disposed of per local regulations.
• Refer to the Safety Data Sheet before use.

Compliance

CPSIA compliant — meets 16 CFR Part 1303 (<90 ppm lead in surface coatings) and CPSIA §101 (<100 ppm total lead); safe for use on children's apparel. Phthalate-free formulation.
